STATE BOARD OF BARBER EXAMINERS
APPLICANT INFORMATION
STUDENT SUCCESS IS OUR MISSION
Applicants must be of good moral character and temperate habits.
Applicants must be sixteen and one-half (16 1/2) years of age or older.
Applicants must have an equivalent of an 8th grade education.
Applicants who have a conviction for a felony must go before the Arkansas State Barber Board and receive approval before begining classes.

Once an applicant has been accepted and all required forms completed, the student may begin training on the following schedule :
Full time classes, 38 hours per week, are scheduled from 12:00 - 6:00 on Mondays with no lunch break, andTuesday-Friday from 9:00 - 5:30 with 1/2 hour for lunch.
Part time students that carry less than 22 hours per week will be subject to different charges and special schedules must be arranged with the college Director.
